Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
The American Heart Association’s ACLS certification course builds on the foundation of lifesaving BLS skills by emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).
Our ACLS certification course helps you to gain advance knowledge in lifesaving BLS skills, also how to identify, evaluate and intervene with advanced medical and pharmacological therapy according to AHA ACLS guidelines.
Who should take this course?
The ACLS certification online is intended for healthcare professionals who direct or assist in the treatment of cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies. Personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care, and critical care units are included.


What does this course teach?
- Basic life support skills, including effective chest compressions, use of a bag-mask device, and use of an AED
- Recognition and early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest
- Recognition and early management of peri-arrest conditions such as symptomatic bradycardia
- Airway management
- Related pharmacology
- Management of ACS and stroke
- Effective communication as a member and leader of a resuscitation team
ACLS Course Pre-Requisite

Prior to the course, each participant is expected to have reviewed the information in the 2020 ACLS Course Provider Manual.

It is REQUIRED that you complete the Precourse Self-Assessment & Precourse Work HERE, identify any gaps in your knowledge, and remediate those gaps by studying the relevant content in the ACLS Provider Manual or other supplementary resources.

Participants in the course must have the fundamental knowledge and skills to interact actively with the instructor and other students. In most cases, no time will be spent during the course on rhythm interpretation skills and/or pharmacology. This information should be reviewed before enrolling in the course.
- Participants in ACLS must have a valid Basic Life Support card. Throughout the course, participants will be required to demonstrate proficiency in BLS CPR skills on multiple occasions.
NOTE: To be admitted to the course, you must bring a printed copy of the completed Precourse Self-Assessment and Precourse Work.

Successful Completion of the ACLS Course
- Pass the Adult CPR and AED Test for 1 Rescuer
- Pass the Ventilation Bag-Mask Test
- Demonstrate your ability to learn station skills.
- Pass the Megacode Assessment
- Pass the open-book written exam with an 84 percent minimum mark. Course
