Learning Options
Blended Learning Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Online
Part 1:
Heartsaver Courses is the eLearning component of Blended Learning; this course uses a range of eLearning assets to teach students CPR/AED knowledge and skills, including dramatizations, eSimulations, animations, self-directed learning, and interactive activities.
Part 2:
Students attend a structured CPR/AED Hands-On Session with an AHA Instructor after finishing the online component. This session focuses on practical skills practice, such as doing CPR and using an AED, as well as skills testing.
Part 3:
Students will receive the same Heartsaver card as if they had taken the classroom version of the course after successfully completing Part 1 & 2. This class appeals to students since it allows them to finish a section of the course at their own schedule.
